At Columbus Circle, Energy from All Directions

When I visit New York, I always stay at St. Regis, because I love classical interiors. However, with a new project beginning in September, I felt the need to stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel has a fantastic location right above Columbus Circle.

Several roads intersect here turning the circle into an center into which energy pours from all directions. In this sense, Columbus Circle is similar to Shibuya's Mark City.

I didn't request a specific room number, but asked for a room overlooking Central Park. I was delighted when the hotel obliged my request and I received a room with a superb view. I was energized by the greenery of Central Park in my hotel room, and in the hotel lounge, by the view of Columbus Circle.

I usually advise people who I have sessions with me to choose the hotel they stay in according to the purposes of their trip, whether it is travel for business or pleasure. That way, your time will be much more fulfilling.

During this trip, I felt very energetic. There were times when certain things annoyed me, but that happens every time. Overall, it was an energizing 10 days filled with lots of laughter.
